May 18th Noon Balloon on KSCO AM 1080
My first Noon Balloon show on KSCO after a prolonged absence and of course a bit of descriptions of the trip that took me to Washington, Texas and Russia. So what do I find after having been away for almost 2 months? Immigration!
And the situation has not change for the better. It is especially interesting to see the same people that have been running the War on Drugs and have failed miserably with it; those same people now are telling us that they know how to deal with immigration.
Messing with market forces have not taught them anything yet. This, together with upsurge of leftism and anti-capitalism around the world in places like Ecuador, Bolivia, other Latin American countries, Russia, and many others.
The whole idea that those that are here illegally will leave if we create appropriate environment is laughable. It is just as na?ve as the idea that removing market forces would bring up some worker?s paradise in the Soviet Union. I just came back from there and you would not believe the damage that this messing with market forces has wrought. Russia right now is one of the most immoral places I can think of and most of it I can trace to fallacies of messing with market.
Labour is a market like everything else. Mess with the supply and demand will not do us any good. We already have this underclass of millions of people that we deny equality to.
This country already had the experience with an immoral dead caused by contradictions between egalitarian foundations of this nation and slavery. We are still living through aftershocks.
Few descriptions of my trip to Russia
